Decision for Christ (Confirmation) Class Begins January 24, 2010 and meet in the Great Room.
The decision to become a follower of Christ is the single largest decision that one will make in their lifetime. The reason for this is the fact that following Christ affects every other decision we make. That is why it is so important to help young people make an informed decision as to what they will do with the invitation from Christ to be one of His followers.
This year we are expanding the Decision for Christ Class and will be offering a companion class for parents. The classes will meet at the same time and share in some of the teaching. We want families to take full advantage of this important time in their story. We want you as parents to be able to walk with your child in this monumental decision to begin their journey as a Christian.

Week 1: Jan. 24th- God Sin and Grace

Week 2: Jan. 31st – Jesus Christ, Savior and Lord
Master Teacher: Jason Mincey
Week 3: Feb 7th – Super Bowl Party
Week 4: Feb 14th – The gift of the Spirit
Master Teacher: Rick Wright
Week 5: Feb. 21st – Worship and Word
Master Teacher: Matt Tuggle
Week 6: Feb. 28th – The Body of Christ in action
Master Teacher: David Saine
Week 7: March 7th – Profession of Faith
Master Teacher: Dave Davis
Confirmation Sunday: March 21st at the 9:30 and 11:00 am services
Small Group Leaders: Rick Wright, Donna Davis, David Saine
Class Format:
6:00 – 6:30: Snack Supper at round tables in Great Room
6:30 – 6:45: Opening prayer, announcements, and a short table activity. This activity will introduce the theme for the week.
6:45 – 7:00 Master teacher sets the stage for the small group.
7:00 – 7:30 Small Group discussion time
